Please be aware of the fluid nature of of schedules of those still dancing! Where possible teachers are as advertised but occasionally changes must occur.

Timetables will start at 11am with daily class and the day will finish at around 4.30pm.

There will be Ballet, Virtuosity, Pointe work, Strength Training, Allegro coaching, Contemporary, Repertoire and Body Conditioning / Pilates / floor barre.

At the same time, within the teaching styles used, students will learn about their anatomy, how their psychological approach affects their work and outcomes, taking care of their own physicality, training as a ‘whole dancer’ and incorporating this to create a more refined technique that has artistry and musicality at its core.

This course will provide an inspiring and insightful 3 days whilst forming precious industry connections for the student's futures. The aim of years of training is so they can succeed as a classical ballet dancer at the highest level, and so all teachers are chosen with this end in mind. For example: after the 'back to ballet' course the wonderful guest teacher used her contacts to place my student with the Dutch National Ballet School and Ellison in NYC. I am so thrilled for her!

In 2016 the dancers were lucky enough to spend time with Will Tuckett who choreographs at the Royal Opera House and around the world. Will actually created a dance on the students, so they got to work first hand with a choreographer, and realized that there are many other skills needed beyond their technique. There are many vital components for being a successful dancer within a Company!

The aim of this course is to expose students to the many elements that create a successful dancer.

I will look beyond the obvious choice of Ballet Class and Repertoire for the timetable in order to expand their thinking and experiences beyond their normal training schedules.

Ballet Boost courses wish to nurture the next generation of dancers who will operate on a level above and beyond what is asked of them, forming creative artists that are highly employable individuals.
